Anyone can BOOK travel. Clients use a travel advisor like myself because they trust my destination knowledge, my relationships with in-destination partners, and my goal: to ensure you meet your personal needs and have the best experience leading up to and during your stay.

When you book through a discount retailer, you are flagged as a "budget traveler" in a hotel's booking system. Not only will you not be given any special treatment but if a hotel gets oversold (which it often does), you are the first to get bumped to a different hotel for your stay. I've witnessed this at hotel check-ins multiple times! When you book through me, I work directly with my trusted partners at your accommodation to ensure you are flagged as "VIPs" in their system; this means complimentary breakfasts, hotel credits and other special offerings—and you're at the top of the list for upgrades, early check-ins/late checkouts. They help me personalize your stay so you're not just another guest. Together, we help elevate your stay.

I actually LOVE when clients do their own research. It makes the process very smooth when you have a good idea of what you want. But my preferred partnerships can still elevate any accommodation stay. And my partners on the ground around the world and I can offer up experiences that you may not otherwise have access to. The hospitality industry is very much one based on personal relationships and no booking engine can replace that.

I get paid a commission on accommodations (hotels, resorts and home rentals) and cruise bookings as commission is already built into nearly everything you book online (fun fact!). I also get paid in planning fees when you would like full itinerary planning as that requires a lot of time and careful consideration.

Since we work for ourselves, travel advisors do not make a salary. We put A LOT of time into learning about destinations around the world and developing key relationships on the ground to make your trip exceptional. Planning fees go toward my time to craft a carefully curated itinerary to make your trip extra special.

Points and miles count as a "free booking" so unfortunately I cannot do bookings that are considered "free."
